Picture of the Moment—Post-dashcam days

Picture of the Moment

I went by this car on fire before the police, fire trucks, and ambulances got there. There’s no additional information online so I presume everyone involved is okay. In pre-dashcam days I would have stopped to take a picture. I always felt guilty about stopping to take pictures of accidents and such. I like post-dashcam days better.

I had a car problem in 1982 when I lived in Houston. I created a mess during rush hour. Ever since then, I don’t keep cars long enough to have car problems. The longest I have had a car since then was my 1989 Saleen Mustang GT. I had it from 1992 to 1998. Otherwise, it’s 3 years max.

Jim and I have had our 2017 Toyota Corolla and 2017 Honda Civic for two years. We will have them replaced by Christmas at the latest, by the end of August more likely.
