I like to take my photographs and kind of mess them up in Photoshop and various other programs so that they don’t look like photographs anymore. That means I’m always on the lookout for new digital photo editing programs. One I discovered a few days ago is called “Impresso Pro” by a company called JixiPix. They claim to have
“a long and lucrative history developing well-known 3D, Video and Multi-Media software, not to mention an industry of iOS and Android apps. Thanks to the response from our users, we have been recognized as one of the top developers from Apple, Mac World, USA Today and other industry leaders.”
Yet they don’t have a page on Wikipedia….
Nonetheless, following are 24 photographs from my December visit to the San Diego Botanic Garden, messed up a little bit in Impresso Pro.

I don’t know for sure. I put names only on those I was 100% certain. They might be Gerbera flowers, though.

I love how they are like paintings. I like the fig best-very simple but beautiful texture and subtle colour. x

The fig is my favorite, too. My wise old grandmother had a huge fig bush in her yard, and I was always out there looking for ripe figs. I’m currently trying to find a fig bush for our new home here. No luck yet. Probably isn’t the season since everyone everywhere is selling Christmas trees and poinsettias.

Wonderful photos, I liked the bamboo tunnel, a lovely tall growth, like a nature’s fence.

There are a lot of bamboo tunnels with different species of bamboo because the San Diego Botanic Garden grows a lot of bamboo for the pandas at the San Diego Zoo.

Sadly, I don’t know the name of that flower. Usually there are little name signs posted everywhere but a lot of them were missing this trip. They were doing a lot of maintenance trimming, pruning, and cleaning, so may the name signs are just down temporarily.

You would love the San Diego Botanic Garden. They have several bamboo tunnels as well as a couple of citrus tree tunnels.

Thanks. It took me many years before I learned that one cannot go wrong with flowers.

I bought three but the first one I tried was Impresso Pro. I like it so much I don’t know when I’ll ever get time to try the other two.

I might wait on anything else until you try them but will definitely go for impresso pro. Thank you

I’ll report on them if I like them. I don’t always report on things I don’t like. So if you don’t see anything by the first week of January, you’ll know I didn’t like them. However, I did buy them so my initial impression of seeing what other people were doing with them was favorable. So there’s that.
