If I didn’t listen to ALL of my music every six months, I would probably forget about songs like Georgy Girl because it’s the only song I have by The Seekers.

I always forget about groups when I only have one of their songs, like The Seekers with Georgy Girl. It’s why I listen to ALL of my music, to rediscover gems.

Music turned vulgar about 25 years ago. Very few stories, very few songs to sing, very few tunes to hum. It seems to have become a race to see who could be the most vulgar in the shortest song……

Thanks. I probably would not be alive today without music. It saved me at least three times that I can definitively point to.

Oh Lord! I can hardly believe those songs are all from 1966. So long ago! LOL Seems like just yesterday. (I was a freshman in high school.)

Those two are my number ones from The Monkees and The Beach Boys, although “Sloop John B” comes in a close second for The Beach Boys.

That video of the Who makes it look like they’re playing in a high school gym 🙂

Or one of those small nightclubs where so many groups in Europe got their start. Think The Beatles at the Cavern Club.
