I have had a need to create eBooks but I wanted one of those flipping eBooks that I see occasionally.
I have tried several of them but they either are absent-ware (parts of the program are absent unless you pay for it), are too difficult to work with, or are just plain bad.
Finally, I found Flip PDF, which makes flipping eBooks out of PDF files. Since Word and InDesign, the two programs that I use most for page layout, easily create PDF files, I gave it a try.
I’m extremely happy with it.
Check out this short flipping eBook of (mostly) flowers:

The link wouldn’t work for me. 😦

Might have just been server maintenance or something. Maybe even WordPress, a platform that I’m a little disappointed in after being away for a year. I thought they might make improvements but things seem to be a little worse. It took me an hour last night to do this short post because of WordPress crashing. I had even moved to three different computers so I know it was a WordPress problem.

Lovely! Although I’m somewhat minimalist so could do without the frills. The photos are beautiful anyway.

lol – I was wondering what a flipping ebook was and now I know. 😉 Stunning photography, especially the furry one at the end, but where are the names of the flowers? I knew the names of a few of them but most left me wanting to know more!
