Friday Flower Fiesta (5-20-2016)

Friday Flower Fiesta

It’s hard to believe that it’s been over five months since my last Friday Flower Fiesta. Alas, time flies when you’re having fun….

People say we don’t have seasons here in San Diego, but I’m here to tell you we do. In fact, we’re in the midst of one of them right now: Purple Season.

Purple Season is when the Jacarandas, Lilies-of-the-Nile, and Sea Lavender all are blooming simultaneously.

I’ve been catching up on my Stephen King reading lately—Cell, Dr. Sleep, and now Insomnia. I have not been disappointed. As I was creating Photographic Art this morning, I hit the wrong key combination and came up with the following Lily-of-the-Nile, which made me think of Insomnia. Those of you who have read Insomnia probably will understand.

Yes, all is well here. Hopefully for you, too. Only “problem”: can only like/comment/reply via cell phone, no browser works.
        Have a wonderful weekend,

Those are gorgeous. Is the neon flower a Lily of the Nile? That and the tree would have to be my favorites today. Hope you are doing well, RR. 🙂

You sound like Vince. He said that to me once, and I came unglued!!! Now it is our big joke. At the time I thought he was saying, “Without You!” He wasn’t. We all come to those forks in the road. You have lots of options, RR, and tons of talent, so I’m sure doors will open up, and you will figure out which one to walk through.

I’ve just been driving for Uber and Amazon 10-14 hours a day. Then I have to play fetch with Zoey the Cool Cat, rub her tummy, feed her, rub her tummy, clean her box, rub her tummy. So little time………..
