Music on Mondays (5-4-15)—Big this and big that

The Music Chronicles of Russel Ray

A big difference between the music forty years ago and the music now is the innuendo, specifically sexual innuendo.

In today’s music they simply come right out and tell you, which doesn’t make for very good family listening if one has the house or car windows open.

Of course, those people listening to that music don’t seem to care.

I do.

Here are two of my favorite sexual innuendo songs from decades ago:

“Big Ten Inch Record” by Aerosmith, 1975

“Big Balls” by AC/DC, 1976

There are many more, even some from more recent years, but those are my favorite two.

There’s really not that much room for doubt, though, is there? Particularly the AC/DC track. I always liked AC/DC, because good or bad, they manage to look like they’re having a really good time making music.
