Decades when I lived there, you can imagine my shock that sometime after New Year’s Day when fall ended, it went straight to spring…each of my 3 years there! So different than seasons in Oklahoma and Colorado! #4 and #8 right up my alley…perfect.

The Yellow Rose of Not Texas is in my garden. It’s a weed. It grows in the midst of cactus and native vegetation, and I cannot get rid of it. I have dug it out, Round-Upped it, drowned it, droughted it……..It’s like the Energizer Bunny, just keeps going and going and going.

Wow. Being in cold, wintry upsate New York, these floral pics are a breath of fresh sopring air! I especially love how you captured the buds just about to burst into bloom; on the cusp of something beautiful (the fuschia with the dew drops is especially stunning). Thank you for this gift!
