We come in threes

Yes, Jim and I made it to opening night for the San Diego Nighttime Zoo yesterday.

In three hours I took 141 pictures and 13 videos.

It was the night of threes, though.

This was exactly what I’ve been asking myself lately, RR..why are there always three of them. I see also often two of the same kind and one of another breed. It’s nice to wonder how come 😀 Pawkisses for Zoeyy TCC 🙂

The mallard ducks here are another interesting situation. When they have babies, I always count 13 duckies per parent couple. Even yesterday at the zoo, there were some mallards whose babies were several months old now. Thirteen! Is it just the mallards in San Diego or do mallards everywhere lay 13 eggs?

I have been to your photography site a couple of times looking for a cat picture (large or small). Does Zoey know about the shortage? I’m sure she would disapprove.

Oh, yeah. She knows about the shortage. Surprisingly I only have seven pictures in the Cats Gallery right now: http://fineartamerica.com/profiles/1-russel-ray.html?tab=artworkgalleries&artworkgalleryid=403788

I have over 18,000 pictures of cats, big and small, so stay tuned. It’s gonna take a long time…………..

On the other hand, though, if you see a cat picture anywhere in my blog posts, let me know. I’ll make some Photographic Art out of them just for you!
