Friday Flower Fiesta (5-30-14)—Peak rose-blooming time is here!

Friday Flower Fiesta

It is peak rose blooming time in San Diego right now so I thought I’d feature roses in today’s Friday Flower Fiesta.

However, I created something a little different for you today. Hope you like it.

Just lovely. I love roses – the real ones like you took pics of, not the no smell roses from the florist. Some roses don’t have scent of course but it seems the ones from the florist never do or they have a whiff of refrigerator about them. these roses just breathed, right off the screen.

I know. My husband grows hybrid tea roses…I am careful because I know I can get him going easily. he did find a lovely white hybrid tea that has fragrance! Full Sail and it is a lovely rose. I love white flowers and work on having a white garden. A dear friend of mind had over 100 different white flowers in his garden, blooming night and day from Valentines until frost. It was a lovely place.
