Friday Flower Fiesta (2-7-14)—For those needing some beauty today

Friday Flower fiesta

WordPress (for me) is still messed up. Ever since around January 2 when someone added new functions to my blog.

  • LIKE buttons still don’t work on blogs whose URLs end in wordpress.com.
  • GIFs don’t work anymore.
  • Can’t get to my site stats.
  • Can’t get to the little gold star notifications unless I reload my site.

I’m even creating a WordPress site for a friend, and hers is working perfectly. Jim’s WordPress site is working perfectly. My home inspection WordPress site is working perfectly.

Hmmm. It just occurred to me that perhaps an automatic update to my theme is causing the problems rather than WordPress itself. I’ll have to do some detective work this weekend and let y’all know if I find out anything.

I can’t even upload any photos right now, so after two hours of messing around here and not accomplishing anything, I’m just going to pick twelve of my best pictures from past Friday Flower Fiestas and put them here. WordPress, Mystic theme, and I apologize for the rerun.

Which is your favorite?

Love no. 7, all just beautiful though. WordPress messes me about as I’m using it on my ipad at the moment, worked perfectly well on my laptop.

Rerun or not, these are stunning! Definitely these are some of your best shots. Some of these flowers I’ve never seen. My husband is a flower photographer, so I’ve seen a lot of flowers!

#9, I think, but a tough call. I had problems for about a month with WP “paid for” blogs downloading toolbars and players onto my computer, but Avast has learned and now asks me if I want them. Something is seriously wrong with WP, I suspect.

Oh man, that sounded frustrating. Looks like you’ve since worked it out. I think the tiny pink and yellow ones that look like party lanterns are really nice. Do you happen to know what they might be?

Add one more thing to the list that WordPress won’t do for me right now, and that’s play videos on those blogs whose URL end in wordpress.com. Thus I couldn’t watch the video in your blog post.
