Friday Flower Fiesta (11-22-13)

Friday Flower Fiesta

Today is the 50th anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

It also happens to be my sister’s 55th birthday, although my sister and I are estranged; no big deal since I’m estranged from all relatives on both sides of my huge Mormon (mom) and Catholic (dad) family except for four (a mail cousin, a two stepsisters, and a niece).

Nonetheless, flowers for everyone!

Appreciate the colorful flowers today as we had sea fog early and now a strong cold front with storms and overcast.
I remember this day – still in black and white screen images. (and despite the rumors, no one cheered that day). Nice tribute.
PS just about everyone becomes an “orphan” sooner or later. Life goes on and there’s lots of neat stuff around to entertain. Hope your weekend is delightful.

Beautiful flowers thank you. I feel for you about ‘family’. We are our own family within. We are our own ‘nurturer’, our own ‘friend’ first and foremost. It’s sounds like your heart is in the right place and that is all that matters.

Beautiful pictures. Just curious – does Zoey eat flowers? Every time I see your flower pictures, I think about a cat we had who would mow down anything green the moment we brought it in the house.

The only thing Zoey the Cool Cat eats other than her cat food is anything that has long, stringy leaves…. pine needles, grass, and pony tail palms. I had to put all my pony tail palms outside because she just won’t leave them alone if they are inside.
