Walrus at SeaWorld San Diego

Reward for spitting?

Out & About

If you are heading to SeaWorld San Diego, you can buy tickets online.

If you have a smartypants phone, you can show them your ticket on your smartypants phone.

However, a recent trip to SeaWorld San Diego (a few hours ago) revealed that paper tickets and smartypants phone tickets are not created equal.

There are dozens of lines to get into SeaWorld, but the paper ticket lines are much shorter than the smartypants phone ticket lines.

So…………………..

If you want to get into SeaWorld quickly, print your ticket on paper.

If you enjoy standing around in long, long, long, long lines, just keep it on your smartypants phone.

Finally!

I knew eventually someone in the world would give preference to those of us without smartypants phones!

That’s a big walrus at SeaWorld San Diego. Walruses can get up to 3,700 pounds, which is, I believe, a tad more than that lady rewarding this one for spitting.

      Ha! Not anytime soon………

From April 1993 to October 2003 I used to help wireless companies build out their cell sites so their cell phones would work. I apologize to the world for helping cell phones invade and take over our lives (although not mine………..).

wow… I saw a documentary a few years back on the cell phone rush and how dangerous that job was! I’m assuming it was safer in California because I’m almost sure the documentary was more focused on the “south”

The first place I built was Detroit and Chicago and the main highway linking them. Then it was off to Ohio (Cleveland, Cincinnati, Toledo, Akron), Pennsylvania and New England; Florida, Texas, Washington, Oregon, and Utah before landing in San Diego to do Southern California. That’s when I did most of my traveling, but after a decade of traveling, it was good to settle down.
