When I was in college at Texas A&M University back in the 1970s, we used to play a drinking game called “1-2-3, what do you see?” Although I have no beer, wine, or margaritas to offer my readers here, I do have something for the game.

There were two bullfrogs (they might be toads, I guess) in the pond. The other one wasn’t hiding in the leaves, the better to take pictures of:
Although I know we have lots of wildlife here in San Diego County, some of it is more difficult to find than it was in my home state of Texas…. roaches, woodpeckers, frogs, turtles…. just to name a few.
