PICTURE OF THE MOMENT

Yesterday while I was out exploring San Diego County, I found a boat. I guess I should explain how I “found a boat.”

I was way out in the boondocks — no houses or businesses within sight — when I came upon this boat:

Before I go further, can we all agree that that boat probably has seen better days? That it probably doesn’t even float anymore, which could be why it’s on land? That, perhaps, it has been abandoned out there in the boondocks?

I got out to look at the boat, as well as lots of other interesting stuff nearby, and found this written on the boat:

“A great boat … temp stored …. never abandoned.” Run that by me again….
