Sunset at the tidepools in Ocean Beach
Along with learning how to do the Out of Bounds effect in Photoshop CC (see Captain Morgan), something else I’m trying to do is create my own picture frames in Photoshop.
I have my favorite frames, but they come from Photoshop’s Actions, or I take the picture to Corel PaintShop Pro, Corel Photo-Paint, or even Word 2013.
Following is a picture from Ocean Beach this afternoon where the tide was farther out than ever, leaving more tidepools than I’ve ever seen in Ocean Beach.
You can see the tidepools at the lower right, but where the couple is sitting, and below them, is area that I’ve never before seen exposed at low tide.
I created the frame in Photoshop CC and then created a template. All I have to do is open the template, open my picture, copy my picture to the template, and voilá! Instantly framed!
Along with doing a tutorial on the out of bounds effect, I’ll do a tutorial on framing so you can create your own picture frame templates.
