Friday Flower Fiesta from the Desert Garden in San Diego’s Balboa Park
Today’s Friday Flower Fiesta comes to you from the Desert Garden at Balboa Park. On 2½ acres you can marvel at over 1,300 cactus and succulents from around the world. Peak bloom time is March to May, but you can usually find things blooming year round. This is, after all, San Diego where people, plants, and wildlife enjoy 11 months of rain-free skies.
