Here is Zoey the Cool Cat without her disguise:
The little cutie in the first picture is a red panda at the San Diego Zoo. The Zoo has been pruning, cutting, and even removing overgrown foliage in many of the exhibits, allowing patrons (like me!) to see many animals that used to hide from us. I got quite a few (meaning 281) pictures in a two-hour walk through part of the Zoo this morning. I’ll share them in future posts.

Zooey is just something- a cat with character… except that all cats have it too…
It’s hard to believe that I didn’t discover the wonder that is a cat until I was 52!
I was even older – 61 – I’d only had seventeen dogs before that – three at a time – mostly rescued….
I have had dogs, snakes, rats, mice, birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, cows, horses, monkey, fish, outdoor cat……… Never an indoor cat, but Zoey the Cool Cat is so much joy.
I can only say WOW… and yes, cats are irresistible
I am in love with Zoey. She is beyond cool, and I enjoy her vicariously since I can’t have a pet.

I have lots of pictures of Zoey the Cool Cat that could be quite embarrassing to her. I use them whenever ZCC acts up and I need to get her back under control I think it’s called blackmail……………lol
I love Red Panda’s they look so cuddly but are in fact quite ferocious.
I was going to say, isn’t the first one from the zoo?
Yep. Sometime between yesterday and the last time I was at the Zoo, they added a second red panda and both were laying out on the branches. When we just had a loner it was always hiding higher up in the tree.
