Friday Flower Fiesta

Oh, woe is me. Somehow I lost a day this week even though I always have something scheduled each day.

For some reason, all day yesterday I was thinking that today would be Saturday and that I’d be down in Chula Vista watching the implosion of the old South Bay Power Plant.

Nope. Tomorrow is the implosion.

Today is Friday, which means it’s time for our Friday Flower Fiesta!

Today’s theme is visitors.

I’ll leave it to you to determine why……..lol

  1. The close up aphids is unreal! As is the Ladybug…all the buggies, really. A buggy BUMPER post, Russ! :)

  2. Nice flowers… surprised you didn’t name them all… you’re usually my cheat sheet :) lol

  3. Have fun at the implosion, sounds like fun…I’m sure we’ll see the photos soon

  4. Great photos! I love seeing all the visitors!

  5. Wait a minute. You promised implosions!

  6. Very nice flower pics. Enjoyable with the butterflies, bees, and beetles!

  7. Great photos of “visitors”, most of which I like – the little green guys are creepy, though!

  8. Makes me think; somewhere there is delicious honey.

  9. Beautiful flowers!!! Great shots!!

  10. These are stunning, Russel! You must have infinite patience to capture these amazing shots. Sky is blue today, and am looking at the sea. Only takes a bit of sunshine to lift the spirits and your pictures bring the promise of spring and warm summers. Lovely!!

  11. Gosh those were stunning, thank you.

  12. Great photographs as usual. Inspires me to take more photographs. :)

  13. Lovely flowers but lol I nearly had an implosion of my own at the sight of certain bugs on show!! Not least the rather large and abundant supply of green creepy crawlies ;) The ladybug was great :) They don’t sting and aren’t scary!! But yea ok :D They are very cool close up photos and I am suitably scared….I mean impressed ;) :D

  14. oooo ladybug!!! The watermelon – ewwww. Thanks for sharing!!! :) I’ll be back later. Got to go feed V. :) ML

  15. Unbelievable! I know those awesome clear and crisp pictures are no easy tasks. What are those green things?

    • Those as aphids. If you have a good supply of aphids, you’ll have a good supply of ladybugs. Ladybugs and aphids are kind of like peanut butter and jam, Mexican food and margaritas, black and white, stop and go…………..lol

  16. Stunning! Makes me impatient for springtime and my garden! :)
