I feel so inadequate
I have always had a birdhouse in my yard.
Keyword in that sentence is “a”.
Yesterday I found a tree that made me feel so inadequate:
Either WordPress or my Theme doesn’t give me the ability to click on an image to get a larger version like it used to, so I realize things are a little limited here, but how many birdhouses can you find on that one tree?
Perhaps more importantly, do birds like living in such close proximity to each other?

Love the photo. When WP changed the way we upload photos I went through a few little problems too, I posted on the WP Forum with my issues and they were resolved. Either WP, or one of the other bloggers usually will answer your question and advise how to fix the problem(s). In this instance for me, the problems were fixed after a couple of days without a reply to me in the forum.
I find the WordPress forums to be extremely useful. I’ve had a couple of questions during my time with WordPress and they got answered within minutes of me asking them on the forums.

My father, who lives in the sticks of Ohio, has put up something like SEVENTY birdhouses in his backyard, and spends over $100 a month feeding the wild birds (keeping in mind that his total living budget is under $500). Now THAT’S dedication.
Nice! I’ve seen some really attractive fences around my neighborhood, where instead of fenceposts, each post is topped by a different birdhouse. I’ll try to catch one on film and post it for you one of these days. Best wishes for the holiday and the new year!

I noticed that if you do a gallery, you can click on a pic and it will look larger on a slide show kind of thing, but the individual pix don’t seem to do it anymore. On my iPad,, a double tap will enlarge the pic, but I know that’s not what you’re referring to. Sometimes change is good and sometimes not so much

Maybe for the birds there is safety in numbers. What does Zoey Cat have to say about it, other than she approves of some much potential ‘dinner’ on a tree plate.

The most I counted was 9, and at first I thought that the large house on the left had a chimney. If I count that as a separate birdhouse, it’s 9.
