Wildlife at SeaWorld San Diego and the San Diego Zoo
![]()
With my newfound framing technique in Photoshop CS6, I now have a way determining if I have already posted a picture on my WordPress blog: If the picture has been framed, it has. If not, it hasn’t.
So here are a few new pictures of animals from the San Diego Zoo and SeaWorld San Diego.
Well, except for the first one. It’s from the pavement out by my mailbox.

At least one of those was my ex-wife. I wondered where she went
Now, now. It’s Christmastime. Be nice………..lol
I was. I didn’t say they all were her. LOL
Great photos and framing of them!
Beautiful photos. Wow! Love the framing.
Your camel looks rabid!
It’s not my camel. It belongs to the San Diego Zoo………….lol
The San Deigo Zoo is my favourite zoo in the world! Love your photographs. My husband is now home from San Diego. He loves Old Town for dinner. He went shopping at the outlet mall but did not buy anything. I should have been with him. Love being connected to my favourite city in the world. ~Thea
Great photos Russel!
Lovely set again Russel… the painted dog looks over fed… the camel sure looks like hes having a bad tooth day… and I don’t want to be the person that clips the nails of that bear…
Are you sure Grizzly bear is eating some leftovers, RR
I agree with zooey….I heartily approve this post too! Going to the San Diego Zoo was a highlight of my life…one of the best experiences ever…never tire of pics from there!
The framing really looks nice. And also the colors chosen to compliment the pictures.
If I use a framing color other than black, the color is always one that shows up somewhere in the picture. Photoshop makes it easy to do that.
That first picture is of a Jerusalem cricket (you’re right, it’s not a cricket, but that’s what it’s called–http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jerusalem_cricket).
After your WOG posts, I think your SD Zoo posts are my faves.
If that’s what they have in Jerusalem, I’m never going to Israel…………lol
Love the detail of the walrus. You must of spent a lot of hours waiting for these shots?
Not really waiting for them per sé. It’s just that I go to the Zoo, Safari Park, and SeaWorld at least once a week.
Ah ha! Well worth it. Your photos are great.
no honey badger??
Nope. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a badger of any type.
Fantastic photos Russel!
I stopped using Photoshop ever since I have my iPad, may be if you want to take a look at some apps like snapseed, is free.
kc
I think Snapseed is an Apple app. Apple has been on my bad list for 29 years.
I guess it has an android version since it is just bought by Google, the one that is less evil
.
Kc
Yep. It came out for non-Apple products on December 7. I’ll have to check it out since I’ve seen what it can do on Apple products.
