Yesterday I went to the San Diego Zoo and spent three hours hanging around the Owens Aviary just to get pictures of birds, especially those which I had no pictures of.

Following are a few of the birds posing for me yesterday.

  10. Awesome Russel, that’s a beautiful Tanager, I’m going to look for her when we hit the zoo this week….sha-zam….I’m in San Diego..giggle.

  11. Love, love, love the Tanager!! I’ve only found one here in NC…the summer tanager. This one is just beautiful!! Love the colors!

  12. I have looked a bit through your blog and I see that you don’t need any help for more people to follow you. Scads have flocked to take a look at your pics.

And what is this about word press that is troubling you? I must be on the wrong blog. It was easier to down load a pic and put a nice black frame around it 2 years ago when I was blogging on my daughter’s web site. I moved my blog from, hers over to a new one (mine) after she was too ill to work. Now it seems to have a frame option but it does not work for me. Anyway, word press is falling down in its duties. Some people that follow me are not getting any kind of notice and sometimes I do not get a notification when someone replies to comments that I made on their blog.

So I wish that word press would get on a stick and get with it. I am mostly upset that I can not frame a photo.. I paid for my own domain but I am afraid to “mess” with my blog for fear that I might really have a mess on my hands. So I need to go see the web man again for his help.

Thanks for subscribing and I did like wise.

PS my aussie cattle dog is named Zoey and I had a cat quite a few years ago name Zoey. She died at about 16 years years of age.

    NIce blog you have here.

    Regards,
    Yvonne
