If you come to visit San Diego, be sure to put a visit to La Jolla on your list of things to do. La Jolla is about 25 miles north of downtown San Diego:
P.S. If you fly into San Diego, sit on the left side of the airplane. The view of downtown San Diego as you are landing is magnificent.

I love the sea lions snuggling! That is so adorable. It would be so cool to sleep on the beach and snuggle with them (I think they like humans, I saw a show about a baby one and he got very attached to a zoo keeper).

The coast, whether west or east, north or south, is always worth a photo or two, or several. Yours are beautiful! Flying into San Diego – just missing that hotel, whose name I have managed to forget – is not for the fainthearted.
You must be thinking of the Holiday Inn, although they sold it recently. I think it’s a Sheraton now but I’m not 100% sure.

Last time I stayed in San Diego, I took local route 30 from Old Town to get to La Jolla. Was a leisurely bus ride, but allowed for much sight seeing along the way. Great post!
