The Music Chronicles of Russel Ray

Today is Anna Mae Bullock’s birthday number 73.

You might know her better as the one and only Tina Turner.

Following are three of my favorite songs of hers, “We Don’t Need Another Hero” from the movie “Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome,” a cover of The Beatles’ “Come Together” from the movie “All This and World War II,” and “What’s Love Got To Do With It?” from the movie of the same name.

  11. One of the best concerts my wife and I have ever attended was put on by Tina. What an entertainer! When she was in her early sixties and still showing her sexy legs in concert, I made a comment to a friend, “I hope I look that good at her age.” My friend laughed and said “You don’t look that good now.” Hats off to Anna Mae Bullock.BTG
