Lighting the world (or at least the side of a building)

Picture of the Moment

Since I pay my bills by taking in money as a home inspector, I’m often looking at real estate as I traverse San Diego County. On one of my morning walks recently, I got this picture:

Hillcrest, San Diego

I liked the symmetry, but I particularly liked the way the sun was shining on the glass, making it look like it was lit, and the reflection on the wall. This picture was taken at 10:07 a.m.

  3. Looks like the glass is filled with amber. I like it.

  4. What a fantastic picture, it does look like it is actually lit up and that is what I thought when I first looked at it. The picture almost looks painted. :)

  5. Love this….perfect timing and perfect light….love the colors and contrast against the gray wall…ad Zoey is very cool:)

  6. This is way cool! It almost looks like a painting!!

  7. A truly excellent shot. The fire in the lamp is stunning.

I love Zoey the best though :)
