Horsey hairdo
After my early morning walk yesterday, I went driving around looking for interesting stuff. Since I was just a few hundred feet north of the border with Mexico, well, driving around slowly invites suspicion, and the Border Patrol doesn’t hesitate to stop you. Nonetheless…..
I found a company that rents horses for rides to the beach. Rides are two hours each and cost $75 for group rides and $100 for private rides. I’ll have a more extensive post about the company later on, but today I wanted to show you one of their horses. It has the most beautiful hairdo I’ve ever seen………… on a horse:

Oh, goodness. Zoey is in an erect position!
It happens sometimes, particularly when she wants food!
I’m sure you looked like a real desperado slowly driving by the border! lol Love the horse!
Too cute.
They’re definitely not horsing around with those sassy hair configurations. So neat!
Pretty horse
I did the same with my horses mane for the yearly race in autumn (they are chasing a fake fox then ).
100 $ for a 2 hour ride? That is way too expensive
I thought it was way too inexpensive. I know what it takes to board a hundred horses.
I m sure it s way more expensive here to afford horses than there, but no one takes this much money for a 2 hours ride… It s nice to ride on the beach – I did it many times in Tunisia – but my horse would not set just one hoof there lol
Have you seen the price of real estate here in San Diego? It’s astronomical, and to take so much property so close to the coast to provide rides to the beach, I can only imagine what their property taxes are because I know what mine are, and I’m 14 miles inland.
I spent $175 for a 20-minute ride in an airplane over San Diego, so $100 for a 2-hour horse ride to the beach is so cheap I’m surprised I’m not there everyday!………..lol
Love those braids.
I love horses and these are great pics.
A gorgeous hairdo, a gorgeous horse (I want one!), and a gorgeous job of photography here, Russel!
you are so much fun : )
look up my newest post (to be published soon), nominated you once again
And, dear lady, I thank you once again!
so sweet.
very stylish!
I want my hair to look that good maybe I can make that much money! LOL
cute horse.. the second photo makes it look like a bride
Beautiful breaded hair. I think Zoey TCC has to put up with the hairdo, he’s sitting straight
I wish my hair was that amazing!
That’s such a cute groovy-looking horse! LOL braids and bell bottoms
I have known the ranch owner for 36 years we rode together as kids at another horse rental facility, it is a memory you keep for a lifetime the fresh air, the sound of your horse and the companionship you find in each step-I am sure the beach ads sooo much to the beauty of riding in Southern California. Braiding a horses hair is just a perk of being near them your picture is a great capture of the light hearted feeling you get being near a horse!!
