Del Mar Dog Beach panorama
Usually when I want a panorama, I have that as a goal. When I went to Del Mar Dog Beach for the Surf Dog Surf-a-thon yesterday, I did not have panoramas on my mind. However, as I was cataloging the hundreds of pictures I took, I noticed that I had five pictures that looked like Photoshop CS6 could make a Photomerge panorama out of them. Following is what I got (click on the image for a larger picture):

I can’t decide which I like most when I go to your blog; the subject of the day, or that cool cat, Zoey. I’d better keep the answer to myself!
Perhaps you should since Zoey the Cool Cat is sitting here in front of the computer monitor. I don’t know if she’s reading blogs or just waiting for the Chargers/Raiders game to come on the TV.
very clever. I love these beaches you’ve been photographing – much more interesting than miles of sea and sand!
My excursion to Del Mar’s Dog Beach gave me an idea for a new series, so stay tuned!
Very cool shot!
It looks really spectacular when clicked on. There are a thousand stories there, when the eye scans the horizon. Reminds me a bit of Croatia.
Delightful photo, Russel. Looks like a community get-together at the beach.

Thank you!
What a wonderful photographic celebration of beaches that allow dogs–my Lab is SUCH a water-baby!
Wonderful shot and event!
I love dog beach. I had a cattle dog. This was his favorite place. He didn’t like playing with other dogs, just his tennis ball.
