I have a soft spot for The Home Depot. Whenever I pass one, well, I can’t pass one. I have to stop if for no other reason than to check out the gardening center. Who knows what I might find?
On my way to my home inspection this morning, traffic wasn’t as bad as it usually is, so I got there early. Since there was a Home Depot a few blocks away, that’s where I chose to waste a little time.
I didn’t find any new and exciting plants at the gardening center. However, suddenly I felt like I was being watched, maybe even being followed. I looked all around but didn’t see anyone. Then I heard a litttle plantive meow and there at my feet was The Home Depot Gardening Center Cat:
She looked to be a young cat; she was small, furry, and inquisitive. The Gardening Center checker told me the cat’s been hanging around since late last year.
When I told Zoey the Cool Cat that I had met The Home Depot Gardening Center Cat, Zoey the Cool Cat went into hiding. I think she was upset that another kitty had a longer name….
I assured Zoey the Cool Cat that I love her, but I had to rename her “Zoey the Most Adorable, Cute, and Special Cool Cat” before she would come out of hiding.
