Yesterday evening’s sunset
Cloud formations are few and far between here in San Diego. It’s basically all clouds or no clouds, and usually the “all clouds” are from the daily marine layer or the ugly, dull, gray, heavy clouds from that give us “May Gray” and “June Gloom” each year.
Yesterday’s late evening clouds indicated that we were going to have a spectacular sunset, and my Canon 550D was not disappointed. At 7:10 it looked like this:
Thirty minutes later it was even more spectacular with colors filling the sky in all directions.

Yesterday’s was magical… wish I had my camera on me though!!
You just caused me to look over my shoulder and to observe that our sunset is very pretty this evening, in a very pastel, far less spectacular way. Praise be for sunsets!
Don’t forget sunrises! Without sunrises there would be no sunsets……..lol
Bless you many times over for this glorious sharing of that unique sunset! Glory filling the skies, indeed!
Nice work, beautiful atmosphere
be good to yourself

Amazing how the colors change so quickly
Beautiful!
I firmly believe that if we didn’t have the marine layer that comes in off the Pacific Ocean virtually every day, we’d have 365 days of the most beautiful sunsets in the world.
HAHAHA I agree, that marine layer can be a killer sometimes, but maybe only seeing the sunsets as often as you do makes you appreciate them even more
Beautiful!
Stunning!
