The fencing cat
Across the walkway from the condominium I was inspecting this morning was this fencing cat, apparently preparing for the Olympics fencing competition:
All of us watched her nervously because we were on the third floor and the cat was on the fourth floor. We got the impression, though, that she’s done that many times before.

or perhaps she was practicing for the balancing beam!
I wish I had such a talent!
Could be. I didn’t think to ask her……..lol
Definitely a medalist! lol
Scary, but it does look quite at ease… even looking to see what you’re up to..
Our cat in Mexico climbs the walls and weaves her way through the railings without a care for the 30 foot drop to the ground. She’s up there with the lizards.
This is amazing cat…
Thank you, love, nia
Yikes! THAT kind of fencing. When I saw the title of this post, I assumed the cat was selling stolen goods.
Good grip-cious!
en garde little dude
Did you notice the heart shape on her side, must help her put all of herself into her exploits!
“.”
Cat
Gold medal for sure x
EeeeYoWWWWW..!!! She deserves a gold medal for nerves of steel at least!
Looks like she posed for you and saying “see, what I can, now let’s show the world”
Wow! I noticed the cat does have a collar on; so I assume she is well taken care of and enjoys to get out and travel and roam the fences. Beautiful cat. She would be excellent in a spy cat movie! She could have the lead role!
Spy cat movie………lol……..I’m picturing the owner sitting at his computer watching the video from a spy camera attached to the spy cat’s spy collar……….
Lol, I can see that too! How funny!
Hi ya Russel, I see that you have been looking at my site and want to thank you for all of the likes. Looks like you have been pretty busy on your blog too and very popular as usual.
I am going to put up a piece of artwork today that I think you will like and it will be posted especially for you and Zoey. Have a wonderful day!
I get by every 14-16 days; I’ll be back!
Hey Russel, I too noticed that you stopped by for a camp out. It’s always nice to see you there. Thanks! So does Zoey retrieve? My Cielo loves those plastic milk jug rings among other things. And he loves to retrieve, but he has a minimum distance requirement so we have to throw heavier toys to make it across the house!
Zoey the Cool Cat does like to retrieve the milk rings, and there is no minimum or maximum distance. The caveat is that she only likes to play between the hours of 4:30 a.m. and about 6:00 a.m. After that it’s just EG&S (eating, grooming, and sleeping).
Must be a biorhythm thing. Leo likes to walk on our heads from about 4:30 to 6:00 but that’s just because he’s anticipating breakfast.
Zoey the Cool Cat has to play before she eats. I’ve tried putting down food for her hoping that she won’t wake me up. Nope. Gotta play. I have to invent an automatic play machine for her………….
Great photographs! Oh, and i can relate to Zoey’s food rituals, same here with my fur baby… *sigh*
What great shots! Love the expression in the last one.
And she paused to let you take her picture. Amazing balance…
This cat is looking very good in front of white fence.
AAAHHH!! These pictures are so scary! lol! Crazy cat!!
Amazing. Heart in mouth.
