Friday Flower Fiesta — July 27, 2012
Flower pictures that were original, dull, blah, and uninspiring. They came alive with some added contrast and sharpening using Photoshop CS6, which allowed me to make some DRIPPERS and ROUNDERS out of them.

These are beautiful, Russel.
These are stunning.
Thank you dear sir!
Love the photos. Such a variation! Are these all from one place?
No. In fact, I have no idea where they are from because they were such bad pictures that I put them unnamed into my “See if you can do something with these later on” folder.
These are soooo good… love them… beautiful…
Lovely colour Coneflower
The colors are beautiful. The photo’s are breathtaking. I may have to consider getting that program.
Very nice …..
Isadora
Hey, Isadora. You can do the same thing with many of the free programs on the Internet, such as Picasa, Gimp, and PicMonkey. I bought the expensive programs 20 years ago when they were the only things available, so I’ve just been upgrading all the time so that I have something with which I am familiar.
Thanks for the hint. I wil look into them. It sounds like a fun way to alter a pix and come up with a whole new image. I appreciate it.
Isadora
Pretty! I needed some pretty today. Thanks!
Thanks for finding me:) Beautiful pictures here, friend! Blessings…
Beautiful flowers!
I have noticed that in digital cameras, extraordinary sensors help to target automatically. The particular sensors of some camcorders change in contrast, while others start using a beam associated with infra-red (IR) light, specially in low lumination. Higher standards cameras from time to time use a blend of both methods and likely have Face Priority AF where the camera can ‘See’ some sort of face and concentrate only in that. Thank you for sharing your thinking on this blog site.
You take THE BEST flower photos Ray! Nice job once again.
Wait till you see all my kitty cat photos!………lol
I can’t wait! Will look for them, thanks.
Those are all gorgeous!
Just beautiful
