If you’re lucky enough to be at the beach…
Yesterday morning I went for a 3-mile walk with the Pacific Photographic Society around Mission Bay and Mission Beach.
333 pictures in three hours. It takes a little while to catalog all of them.
Here’s the first set: Simpler times: No pooping.
And the second set: Mirror, mirror on the door
Walking around the Beach and Bay is almost like walking around an art museum.
Here are twelve more pictures:

Beautiful photos. I love California, if I’m ever lucky enough I will live there one day!
I know a great Realtor and I’ll be happy to do your home inspection for you!………..lol
Cool pix. Funny. I was walking the boardwalk two days ago and saw this on a t-shirt. ” if you’re lucky enough to live at the beach, you’re lucky enough.”. I am very lucky. Nice series of photos.

Hi Russel,
That reminds me: we need to get to the Gulf coast [Port Aransas is our favourite] soon.
Have a good one, and take care,
Pit
If you go to Port Aransas, will you take me?…….lol
When I was in high school, Port Aransas was one of our two surfing hangouts, the other being on Padre Island about 15 miles down from Corpus Christi. There was a sand bar created by Hurricane Beulah in 1967 that created excellent breakers. Unfortunately, Hurricane Allen in 1980 destroyed it. Not sure where the good surfing spots are along the Texas coast anymore.
I sure will take you!
You’re most welcome. It’s just around the corner for you, isn’t it?
From high school…………….lol
I loved Mission Beach and Ocean Beach too! Been a long time since I have been there.
We lived at a lake for over 25 years and had an aqua beach sign with the perennial finger pointing.hand..kept it for ‘old-time’ sake.
cheers my friend, great job for you and your work.
