Do you have BWS? YOU CAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!

Although I have had BWS, I have always been able to cure it within just a couple of hours.

I remember in 1983 when my best friend came over up from Houston to my new home in College Station, no more than a couple of days after I moved in. His off-the-wall comment was that my home looked like the Smithsonian Institution because I had a little of everything — modern, antique, Spanish, French, Victorian…. I was, and still am, so proud of his comment. I figure that if I like it, have room for it, and can afford it, I don’t see why I cannot enjoy it in my home.

Oh, sorry. I guess you are wondering what BWS is.

BWS is bare wall symdrome.

My walls have always been a shade of white because, as my wise old grandmother said, “White goes with everything.” I spice up the walls with pictures, paintings, wall hangings. Here is a picture of my most notorious wall hanging:

Walking stick

That’s a walking stick, fifteen inces from tip of the front leg to tip of the abdomen. For the life of me I cannot understand why no one except me likes my walking stick. Ah, well……………

This post, though, isn’t about my wall hangings. It’s about your BWS.

If you have a bare spot on a wall, and you have a favorite digital photo that you have not yet framed, why not have it printed on canvas by the CanvasPeople? They will give you an 8″x10″ canvas print FREE, or you can get $40 off any other print of your choosing.

Here is the secret place to take advantage of their offer:CanvasPeople

You can also get one of my Drippers or Rounders digital files for just $5.00, too, or you can order them printed, framed, or on cards.

  2. Thanks, looking forward to checkin gout the site.

  3. I’d hang a walking stick like that on the wall too!

  4. My house is afflicted with BWS.

  5. Hahahaha Is it serous? Sounds expensive to me :)

  6. Do you have a cure for artwork bursting out of every nook and cranny of the storage and every BW covered to its max? signed, retired picture-framer. However, I do enjoy your walking stick….I don’t know what’s wrong with these people. :)

  7. I have my own archival ink Gicle’e printer or I would take you up on that.

  8. I love the walking stick. Where on earth (I’m assuming, anyway) did you find that? We have walking sticks here, but three inches is a big one!

  9. I need more walls. I have more stuff to go on them then I have room. My closets all have framed artwork/photographs with no where to hang.

  10. We call those ‘stick insects’ in Australia and they are the one thing I have always been petrified of, since I was a little kid! The fact that they are completely harmless doesn’t make a difference; they are completely freaky creatures!!!
Regarding the BWS, I have a lot of great pieces of art (some worth money, some not so much, but all worth the sentiment) that adorn my walls in white frames and I’m always on the look out for the next addition!
