Self portraits from the San Diego County Fair
My favorite part of the San Diego County Fair each year is the garden exhibits. The theme of the Fair this year is “Out Of This World” and apparently the theme of the gardens was succulents. The creativity in using succulents to get out of this world was amazing.
There were two gardening exhibits that had big, huge, monster, gigantic silver spheres in the exhibit, just perfect for taking self portraits, and I wasn’t the only one doing it. There was a little line of people with cameras — P&S, Bridge, Semi-pro, and Pro — taking self portraits. Here are my two:

Excellent work, I love reflection photographs.
Thanks! What I forgot to do was take a picture of the big silver spheres!

Fun shots! I always like to take shots in the old mirror hubcaps or big chrome bumpers at car shows, though especially the bumpers do really strange things to the image your body. I have one where it created a double-image and sort of connected the two mes at the hips. Very weird and fun too.
There is a car museum just three blocks from me that I just discovered a couple of months ago even though I’ve lived here for five years. They have lots of those chrome bumper cars and hood ornaments. I still have to do a blog post about it.
My fave car show here is coming up on June 30. I’m sure I’ll post about it, and I look forward to your post on the car museum when you get to it in the midst of all the other great places you go and post for us to see. Thanks!
Those snaps are actually cool! I enjoyed such kind of appearances of mine, when I went to museum, there were various kinds of mirror. It was very funny.
