Would you pay $5 for this?
My scheduled inspection today got cancelled late yesterday evening so I decided to go to the San Diego County Fair today. That’s where I saw this:
Would you pay $5 for that haircut?
I would, and I did.
I offered the guy $5 if I could take two “mug shot” pictures.
I told him that I liked his haircut, and he was so excited that he said I didn’t need to pay for the pictures.
“Oh,” I said, “yes I do.”

My husband let you take his picture?
Remember that you husband now has an extra $5 courtesy of me. lol
LOL. It’s back! I thought this haircut went out of style awhile ago. Guess not. I know there are different variety of it today, even for women. Thanks for sharing.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BACK!
I had only seen these interesting hair styles on television or in print news, never in person. I was stoked!
Hehe!
I must say, I’ve seen worse. But that’s what you get for walking in San Francisco during summer break, right? Thanks for visiting and come back soon! Happy Reading!
I remember my first trip to San Francisco way back in 1978. It was culture shock for this rural farm boy from Texas. lol
I think my most culture shocking visit there was the first time I learned what gay was. I was so confused as a young child. Happy Reading!
I was 23 when I first visited, and although I knew I was gay, I didn’t know there were terms for it. It took another 15 years before I came out.
I’m proud of you to have the courage. Many people I know are but are afraid to because they don’t like rejection. My uncle was gay, and I didn’t see him any differently. Good for you, and remain strong in who you are no matter what others tell you. Happy Reading!
Love any man sportin’ the Mohawk!! Great pic, thanks for sharing and thanks for visitng my blog!!
I’ll be back in a couple of days or so to do some serious camping. Hope you’ll keep the camp store open for my late arrival. lol
Ah Russel… you are so refreshingly and consistently unexpected!
PS thanks love
Life needs to be fun! lol
The first photo reminded me of Alfalfa from The Little Rascals t.v. show.
To think they are walking outdoors with them. Interesting …..
I remember Alfalfa, and it kind of does!
Hi,
The things we see while out and about.
Thank You for following my blog.
I’ll be back soon to do some serious camping in your blog. Hope you’ll have lots of hot dogs and smores for me!
Plenty of hot dogs all ready and waiting.
Haha! This one is really WEIRD…
russel you are amazing i really like the way you follow your inspiration
belle journée à toi !!!
Such a cool haircut!
It’s bringing back so many memories – used to go to gigs with friends dressed like this, never had the nerve to try it and wondered how on earth you’d sleep at night!
I suspect it’s a daily thing, kind of like women putting on makeup and such. lol
What fun! I find these hairstyles beyond fascinating. Many young Indian guys living here really go for the spiky hairdos. They must spend hours in front of the mirror.
When they could be blogging. lol
Love the second photo.
I do, too. Eventually I’ll clean it up a little in Photoshop and then maybe make something artistic out of it.
Oh! I wonder how you sleep at night! XD
I wouldn’t pay for that… I find it disturbing
It’s no worse than the trojan helmets that the USC marching band wears…………. well, okay, maybe a little worse. lol
Long hair, yes. Mohawks not so much. But great mug shots.
LOL
let me think, seeing how i’m like ‘semi-bald’, due in no small part to, ahem, maturity – uh yeah, i think i would!
LOL, Russel.
