So why do I keep taking pictures………………?

Out & About San Diego

I never really much cared for wildlife art, especially when I can see the real thing at the beach, the various wildlife preserves, SeaWorld, San Diego Zoo, and Safari Park.

So why do I keep taking pictures of bird art?

  1. No idea but keep taking them :D

  2. Quite a collection you’ve got here!

  3. Bird art, it is wow. I love to take photos from carved bears in Finland.

    • At a home inspection this past week, there were two dead tree stumps in the front yard. The owner had them carved into bears. I’ll be posting them soon, maybe later today since you’ve reminded me.

  4. Your post made me be more conscious of bird art as a roam around NYC. I saw a beautiful pitcher one time in the shape of a parrot in a store on 5th Avenue. It was so beautiful that I never forgot it. I would start a collection of bird art if I had any place to put it, but I may anyway. You gave me the idea of a post of bird art around NYC, but I’m afraid you will think I’m a copycat.

  5. Interesting collection indeed. Hope Zoey (or you for that matter) didn’t show any signs of wanting to attack the birds! ;-)

  6. Ridiculously fun! They are charming and I love it. Especially the pelicans. I have a special love for them. I have a statue of a really goofy looking chicken that my step son gave us to put in our garden. I’ll have to take a pic and see where that leads me. Such a fun post!

  7. “That Art is for the birds!” :)

  8. Hehehe these were fun :) Thanks for the smile!

  9. Just when I was about to strike you from my watch-list for continually stuffing my mailbox, you come along and make me laugh enough that I’ll continue to let you camp in my front yard, that is, until you drive me insane. :) :) and lots of laughs.

  10. Wonderful art works… I loved them all but let me add this too, Zoey is so lovely too, :) Thanks and Love, nia
