Wonderful pictures!!! My kids always say.. “There is a bird party!!” – That looks like a bird party (in a tree!).
too funny
Fantastic pictures…wish i wasn’t hearing Frank Sinatra in my mind — “Egrets, I’ve had a few but then again too few to mention” — but then it does presume to go untamed where it will…
Picking up a golden oldie from Frank!
LOL nice
It sure looks like birds growing on and in the tree! I know that sometimes there are too many and the kill the tree with there nesting and sitting on it.
And pooping on it! lol
Didn’t want to mention the pooing, that’s the biggest killer
Sorry my brain isn’t spelling correctly this morning. “and THEY kill the tree with THEIR….”
Look at that beak, will you! So cool and colorful.
He was the only non-white egret there. Not sure if he’s a different egret, a juvenile, a genetic abberation, or a punk rock egret.
Great shots, Russel.
(that last one looks like the Cattle Egret in the Great Aviary at Melbourne Zoo)
I think it IS a cattle egret! Yeah! I got a new bird for my birding list! I wonder where the cattle are.
Cool! I haven’t seen egrets in ages. They were common where I grew up in Florida. Thanks for the memories.
