My first…. and second, too!
I have been on this Earth as Russel Ray for about 57 years, 2 months, 3 weeks, and 3 days. I have lived and worked along the Gulf Coast in Texas, Louisiana, and Florida, as well as along the Great Lakes, and the Atlantic Ocean in Pennsylvania, and the Pacific Ocean in San Diego and San Francisco. I have seen a lot of water birds, like gulls. Today I saw my first gull nest…. and my second, too!

Striking!
First of all Thank you for visiting my blog, I am so glad to meet you. I saw many seagulls and also I took so many pictures of them but I have never seen a nest of them… These photographs are so nice, especially the first one… I don’t know why but it touched my heart too… I haven’t thought before where they make their nests… Thank you, dear Russel Ray, with my love, nia
When it rains it pours. How lucky. Time to buy a lottery ticket
I love your photos and your writing style. So glad you stumbled onto my blog so I could stumble onto yours. More luck to ya…G
That’s great Russ!
Beautiful birds … I really like the bottom shot. I might be wrong, but if you crop in the left side just a bit so that she is at the 1/3 line (rule of thirds), I think you have a keeper with the image. Crop in & see what you think. Get a print of it …
Hey, Mona. I already cropped both of them to my liking. On the bottom one, I really wanted all of the nest in there.
Very nice! I hope I can be as peaceful and find the beauty in daily life as much as you do when I’m 57
Insha’Allah.

Always remember what my wise old grandmother said: “Life is a journey, not an end. Enjoy to the journey.” To which I always add: “And take lots of pictures to share with everyone!”
HAHA.. Great points! I MUST remember the journey more than the destination, thank you…

Awww I love the second one
It’s my favorite too.
Wonderful that you saw that!!!
