Bad mouse…. bad, bad mouse
Zoey the Cool Cat is very demanding, especially during certain times of the day. She likes to eat around 4:30 a.m. and again around 4:30 p.m.
When she’s hungry, she’ll let me know by plopping herself on the desk in front of my computer monitor.
She figures if I can’t see, I can’t do anything on the computer.
Yesterday I picked her up and put her on the back of my chair. She promptly crawled down and plopped herself back on the desk in front of the monitor.
We did this about ten times before she finally realized how she could put an end to it:

She sure made her point….!
William the dachshund likes to sit on my chair behind me when I am on the computer. As a result, I have neck, shoulder, and back pain! Maybe Zoey wanted to help you edit?
Hi Russel, Cat and quilt, perfect together. Zoey the cat has good taste and you have a great blog and photos. Lew Fuller
Thanks, Lew!
Thank you so much for hanging around in my blog and liking so many of my posts. We had Siamese cats when I was growing up and they always sat on the paper my Dad was trying to read. Reading about Zoey brings back all sorts of lovely memories. I loved her exploration of your bookcase!
Zoey the Cool Cat likes to sit on stuff, too. It can be a little post-in note, two square inches, on a big bed and she’ll manage to sit on the note.
Mmm, that mouse sure got the butt of the joke?
It’s a good thing Zoey the Cool Cat keeps her butt clean. Otherwise I would have had to wash the mouse. lol
HAHAHAHA Smart Zoey
I love that you wake up at 4:30 am to feed her! My cat Violet’s favorite place to lay (to be in the middle of things!) is on the kitchen table while the kids are eating… she sneaks food off their plates with her sharp claws. It’s hilarious – like she thinks they can’t see if she moves verrrry slowly. Now, they just wait for it to happen and laaaaaugh. PS – Yes, the kitchen table is a bad place for cats to lay. We don’t mind. We don’t let her up when there is company (although, she tries). lol
Ah, but I don’t wake up at 4:30 a.m. to feed her. Rather, she wakes me up. she’s a great alarm clock, never off my more than five minutes.
