My comment on fashion
No.
Just my own person opinion.
When I was in high school and college, young people were rebelling by wearing clothes that were excessively faded, worn, and torn. Sometimes well torn. Sometimes purposefully torn. It got so bad that Wrangler and Levi started actually selling new clothes that had been pre-faded and pre-torn.
I thought it was the worst fashion in the world.
Then a worse one came along: people, mostly young women, started wearing men’s boxer briefs…. on the outside of their clothes! I didn’t think any bad fashion could beat that. I’m going to quit thinking….
Then along came guys wearing their pants a little too low. Some guys would walk down the street with one hand clutching their pants. I don’t know whether it was to keep their pants in place below their butt or to keep their pants from actually falling completely off. Maybe both…. I did see one guy try to run across an intersection as the traffic signal was changing and tripping over his own pants. I shamefully admit that I laughed. Only his pride was hurt.
Lately I have noticed that the jeans-too-low fad seems to be fading. Over on the campus of San Diego State University, the women seem to have taken to hot pants again (they say history repeats itself) and the guys are back to Michael Jordan long shorts.
Except for that one guy in the picture above. In two hours of roaming the SDSU campus yesterday, he was the only one I saw with his pants a wee bit too low. I got a picture just after he had pulled them up. The picture I wanted was three times as bad. I wanted it for posterity, you understand, not to blog about fashion sense or anything like that.
I’m not a fashion mogul but the worst I’ve ever done is go naked on a nude beach. Oh, maybe TMI on that one.

I hope you never stop posting stuff like this. I’m sure sometime in the past you were the court jester. You can’t imagine what fun it is to find a campsite which is guaranteed to make you laugh, not just once when you read it, but later on during the day when the story creeps back out the memory and hits you with that light, healthy feeling we get when we laugh, and laugh again.
Making myself laugh is a great way to make it through each day. I’m glad I can make others laugh, too.
Unfortunately, we are behind the times in NC and some “cool people” are still sagging! Not attractive. At. All. It’s a bad fad.
