Feeding the flamingos at the San Diego Zoo
I have found that one of the best ways to take good pictures is simply to move one’s feet. Moving the feet always — except, perhaps, in a B-grade horror movie — takes you places.
Each week when I go to the San Diego Zoo, the first place I go is to Flamingo Lagoon. If you go early in the morning, you can watch them feed the flamingos. Sometimes the Zookeepers wear special costumes when feeding the flamingos, like this one with her beautiful headdress:
I got that picture simply by moving my feet about five steps to the left of where I was originally standing.

OMG I love it!!! Hilarious. I worked last year at the LA Arboretum and there are 50+ peacocks..needless to say I’m peacocked out!
Love the line up with the peacock!!
Cool!
Sorry about the photo you could not see on my blog, maybe now it works :

Amazing the peacock is directly behind her. Great shot.
Thanks. The peacocks are free-ranging but they know where the resort and the best food (free) is.
