Friday Flower Fiesta — #5: February 24, 2012
Today’s Friday Flower Fiesta post is dedicated to Sally and David Hanson.
Sally and David are real estate agents with Keller Williams in Brookfield, Wisconsin. I have known Sally and David as virtual friends for several years and had the privilege of actually meeting them over in Palm Springs in 2010. If you need a real estate agent in the southeast Wisconsin area, I can highly recommend Sally and David — two great agents for the price of one!
Sally and David, this Friday Flower Fiesta is for you!
The pictures in today’s Friday Flower Fiesta were taken this past week at the properties where I was doing home inspections.
Remember the power of flowers to brighten your day!

While all of these are just beautiful, something about that first Iris photo is particularly nice.
Hey, Susan. I love pictures of flower buds.
Gorgeous….and thank you for the cudos ! Magic and Cosmo are jealous of Zooey having her own stamp !
Zoey the Cool Cat is spoiled. Right now she’s grooming because I touched her. Can’t decide if she hates my human juice on her so she licks it off, or if she loves it so much that she just has to have a taste.
Hello Russel: Your Purple Iris is beautiful. Living here at Canyon Lake Texas I do have Purple Iris plants that look just like that, but the Hill Country deer love them so they don’t last long.
All of your photos are beautiful this week.
Thank you for posting….Ceil Winters
Hi Russel!
Once again, I have flower envy – we can’t grow most of those here in the desert.
Great pictures!
I really like #3 “Purple ice plant”
Hey, Sharon. I live in a desert and they all are growing here! Except for the tulips, these all are desert, low-water plants. Just meet their minimum watering needs and they’ll grow.
Hey, Yukon. Thanks. Right now is purple ice plant blooming time in San Diego. The freeways are covered in purple, especially on a sunny day since the more sun there is, the prettier the ice plants.
May not be the popular response, but I love #7! Just the intrigue of what it might be when it blooms.
